While walking between Cardwell and Ingham we a picked up a hitch-hiker waiting patiently on the road verge after being hurled unceremoniously from a passing car window ….he’s a white tail rat native to the far north rainforest and told us his name is ‘Klaw’ …which just happens to spell ‘walk’ backwards ! He loved getting a ride on Jane’s hat and posed for a photo with Kerry.

Love it. Nothing like a white tailed rat!!! Enjoy Klaw and take care of June. We happen to have taken a great liking (and loads of respect) to her. walk well and safely.
