They must be shady characters as they are trying to stop coal mining

The walkers left Mutarnee early on Friday morning 21st June, headed to Toomulla Beach.

Meanwhile Premier Newman had heard that a clandestine group, an unholy alliance of non-government agencies were trying to shut down Queensland’s coal industry.

Shady we may be, but we are not well-funded or well-organised. How could we be clandestine, as we talk to anyone who wants to listen?

Glad to support this clandestine group, this unholy alliance of non-government agencies . Wonder what Newman thought about the 100 or so who attended the event with Bill McKibben who urged us to do just that-withdraw investments from the fossil fuel industry.

      Thanks Mary
It is great to know we are not alone. Together we are a strong and growing force for a better world. McKibben was an inspiration.

Just remember the saying “You know you are over the target when the flack begins to fly” Go you shady, brave people.
    Heart hugs, Karen

Thanks Karen – yes, if they weren’t worried they wouldn’t make such silly comments.
